This last month I was able to go out with Easton Oliver on a road trip through the American Southwest. We photographed sunrises, made coffee, slept in the back of his Xterra, and stopped at way too many Taco Bells. We were in a constant rhythm of waking up, shooting, finding somewhere to get coffee and charge our laptops, and edit.

The highlight of the trip was reaching Zion National Park. There we met up with my friend Karl Francel. The first day we shot until the sun disappeared behind the mountain peaks. I fell in a river and ruined my favorite shoes, but instead of warming up or changing spent an hour laying in the snow photographing Karl. The things you do for the shot. We drove an hour to the nearest town to watch Spiderman: Into the Spiderverse which was a solid 10 out of 10. Then we drove back, slept for five hours, woke up for sunrise and met up with Cheyenne and Shawnee.

We spent the morning hiking to Canyon Overlook then drove around a bit. Eventually we ended up at a find coffee shop and said our goodbyes. All in all, this part was my favorite of the trip.
