About

I grew up fascinated with stories. When I began photography, I knew that I wanted to emphasize the power a single image has for capturing an entire story. I love the small details and textures, the things that give a memory its place. To me, how you felt and what you remember about where a memory took place can be more critical than the plot of what happened during that time.

I have done photography for ten years now. I started with a Nikon DSRL system, which I still shoot. But I’ve also added several medium format and 35 mm film cameras to the collection, and have a Leica Q2 mirrorless that enables me to more inconspicuously capture moments around me.

My fascination with stories have led down quite a variety of paths. I have done commercial work for clients like Stetson hats, Original Grain watches, and Lids headwear; traveled all over the world capturing weddings and elopements as couples embark on new chapters for their own story; and eventually started making candles and sharing my own story growing up in Oklahoma with Tallgrass Supply.

In 2020, after helping a local retail shop with their social media, I began getting more requests to help different businesses with marketing. By the end of 2020, I had 10 clients where I managed their social media, websites, worked on designing and branding in different capacities, ran media campaigns, e-mail and text marketing, and did various photography and videography projects for.

I slowly began scaling those clients back as I re-adjusted my focus. Now, my goal is to work with brands that are a good fit for my values as a storyteller and help them reach new audiences with compelling stories through design, photography, and overall market strategy.

“Take Every Risk, Drop Every Fear” has been my motto for almost a decade and it has led to memories and stories of my own that I wouldn’t trade for the world.

When I’m not working on a project, I love to spend my time reading photojournalistic editorials, thrifting for some vintage finds, fishing and trying to uncover more about the land I get to call home, and spending time with my two pups.
